Focusing on high-altitude PV installations, the company introduced its latest PANDA series 650 W bifacial TOPCon module
During SNEC 2025, Yingli Solar, a Chinese PV module maker, showcased its latest portfolio of TOPCon modules covering diverse applications ranging from rooftop to high-altitude ground mount installations. As the technical datasheet is unavailable, we infer the displayed TOPCon product’s specifications from the images featured on the company’s official LinkedIn page.
Sized at 1,762 × 1,134 × 28 mm, the company’s all-black bifacial module on display is targeted at rooftop PV installations. Equipped with 96 half-cut cells, it has a rated maximum power output of 460 W and an efficiency of 23.0%.
The company also showcased another product for rooftop applications, featuring 96 half-cut cells and a maximum power and efficiency of 535 W and 23.3%, respectively. It has a slightly higher size of 1,762 × 1,303 × 30 mm, compared to the aforementioned peer. While the embedded PV cells of this module feature an 18-busbar-based (BB) metallization architecture, the former uses 16BB PV cells.
Apart from residential applications, the company also pitched 2 of its PANDA series bifacial TOPCon PV modules.
Featuring dimensions of 2,382 × 1,134 × 30 mm, the first of the 2 modules consists of 132 half-cut cells, is rated for a maximum power output of 650 W and an efficiency of up to 24.1%. The company says that thanks to a higher structural strength compared to its contemporary counterpart, the module is suitable for high-altitude ground-mount applications. While not disclosing the maximum snow and wind load ratings, Yingli claimed that this module delivers higher endurance to its traditional peers in high-altitude installations. In addition, without sharing the exact tweaks made in the product’s bill of materials (BOM), the company claims that it is resilient to degradation under intense UV radiation and thermal cycling, typical in high-altitude regions.
The larger variant measures 2,384 × 1,303 × 33 mm and offers a maximum power output of 730 W and an efficiency of up to 23.5%. Similar to the above model, it features 132 TOPCon half-cut cells.
