GSECL Launches EPC Tender For 224 MW Solar Capacity

The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has solicited bids from EPC contractors to set up 224 MW AC grid connected solar PV capacity to be set up in various districts in the state of Gujarat.

Launched by the Planning and Project Department of independent power producer (IPP) GSECL, the 224 MW AC capacity needs to be developed with capacity ranging between 10 MW to 55 MW at various substations of Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO).

Projects need to be developed in the districts of Surendranagar (42 MW+27 MW), Morbi (38 MW+51 MW), Kutchh (40 MW), Jamnagar (10 MW), and Surat (16 MW) districts. Broad scope of work is design, engineering, supply, procurement, installation, commissioning of the 224 MW AC capacity, along with its operation and maintenance (O&M).

Last date to submit bids is September 15, 2021, according to tender documents available on GSECL's website.
