NLC India Seeking Consultant For Gujarat Project

  • NLCIL has launched a tender seeking an Owner's Engineer Consultant for a solar power plant  
  • The 600 MW solar PV project is coming up as part of GSECL's phase II at Khavda in Gujarat 
  • Work should be completed within 22 months of the winner receiving the LOA 

Operating under the Federal Ministry of Coal, NLC India Limited (NLCIL) is looking to hire an Owner's Engineer Consultant for a 600 MW solar power plant, in the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited's (GSECL) solar park (phase II) at Khavda, Gujarat.   

NLCIL is developing the project through its wholly-owned subsidiary NLC India Green Energy Ltd, for which it has received a letter of intent (LOI) from the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).  

Broad scope of work for the consultant will be to provide basic engineering, review and approval of design and engineering documents and technical support during project execution and commissioning.  

It includes finalizing the sizing and design parameters for procurement of equipment including modules, inverters, switchgears, etc., preparation of PV system reports for energy generation assessment with all potential options.  

Interested applicants should have experience of working with developers/EPC as an owner's engineer or a Detailed Design Engineering Consultant for a minimum of 250 MW capacity at a single location in India, among other requirements.   

Work awarded is expected to be executed within 22 months from the date of letter of award (LOA).
