In Summary, Trina Solar, a globally recognized manufacturer of photovoltaic products and provider of energy storage solutions, has achieved significant milestones. By the end of 2023, the Company’s production capacity of wafers, cells and modules was 55 GW, 75 GW and 95 GW respectively, of which the production capacity in Southeast Asia was 6.5 GW, 6.5 GW and 6.5 GW respectively. Additionally, the company has ventured into the upstream silicon material industry, with plans to construct facilities in the UAE capable of producing 50,000 tons of silicon material, 30 GW of silicon wafers, and 5 GW of cells and modules.

Trina Solar extends its expertise beyond PV module manufacturing, engaging actively in various down stream segments of the PV industry chain, including power plant development. lts subsidiary, TrinaTracker, offers innovative solar tracking system solutions, which has achieved cumulative shipments of Fix and Tracker have exceeded 20 GW till 2023., while Trina Storage delivers both standalone and integrated photovoltaic energy storage systems.

By the end of 2023, the company’s energy storage product capacity is expected to reach 12 GWh, aiming for 25 GWh by 2024. Trina Solar has also developed integrated smart PV solutions tailored for large-scale power stations, residential systems, and commercial & industrial (C&I) systems. These solutions, named TrinaPro, Trinahome, and Trinablue, provide comprehensive services including engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and operations and maintenance (O&M) for photovoltaic projects.

As one of the early adopters of TOPCon technology, Trina Solar has significantly contributed to its advancement. The Vertex N and Vertex S+ module series cater to a wide range of photovoltaic applications, including residential, commercial, and utility needs. Notably, the launch of its Vertex N module, capable of delivering over 700 W of power, has positioned Trina Solar as the first manufacturer to mass-produce TOPCon modules based on 210 mm cells.
