- Elona Capital and EnerHi have announced a co-development partnership for solar in Spain
- They plan to construct, commission and operate up to 750 MW solar for an investment of over €500 million

Independent investment and asset management firm Elona Capital has joined hands with Spanish renewables firm EnerHi to co-develop up to 750 MW of solar PV capacity in Spain for a total investment of more than €500 million ($555 million).
The duo plan to site 7 greenfield solar PV projects in 6 different provinces. They will construct, commission and operate the facilities. Details about project location, individual capacity and commissioning timeline of the facilities was not revealed.
For Elona Capital, the investment will provide projects for its maiden infrastructure fund, while EnerHi will be expanding its portfolio of PV projects. EnerHi also works in the space of wind farms, storage and the development of new sources as green hydrogen. It counts 7 GW renewables capacity in planning and development stage, with another 1.5 GW having completed access feasibility report.
For EnerHi, this partnership with Elona Capital follows an agreement it reached with Kobus Partners and Morera & Vallejo in January 2022 to complete a 110 MW solar park in Spain’s Guadalajara.
