DMEGC Solar, the Chinese solar PV manufacturer, has reported a 21.7% annual increase in its FY2025 operating revenue to RMB 22.58 billion. It also experienced a year-on-year (YoY) improvement in net profit, but only a slight increase of 1.34% to RMB 1.85 billion, even as the PV market was beset by overcapacity challenges.

The company’s solar product shipments totaled 24.92 GW for the year, representing an increase of 45.04% over 17.2 GW in 2024.

This business division accounted for RMB 14.31 billion or 63.36% of the company’s total operating revenue, up 29.27% YoY. It was also responsible for 54% of its gross profit during the year. The remaining revenues were contributed by its magnetic materials and lithium battery business divisions.

The company stated that it was able to expand solar segment revenues through differentiated products. It achieved large-scale shipments of high-power modules; however, the manufacturer says the profitability of its overseas PV production capacity is constrained by the US policies.

At the end of 2025, its total production capacity had reached 23 GW for cells and 21 GW for modules.
