  • JinkoSolar's principal subsidiary Jiangxi Jinko says its solar module shipments in 9M/2023 exceeded 52 GW
  • A total of 57% of the shipment volume comprised n-type panels, according to the management
  • Its current order book exceeds the estimated module shipments for 2023 that it earlier guided between 70 GW and 75 GW

The principal operating subsidiary of one of the leading Chinese solar PV manufacturers JinkoSolar Holding, Jiangxi Jinko has shipped more than 52 GW of solar modules in 9M/2023.

The numbers include over 30 GW modules shipped in H1/2023, which would mean its Q3/2023 shipments should be around 22 GW (see JinkoSolar Shipped 17.7 GW PV Modules In Q2/2023).

This is strong growth over more than 20 GW the company shipped between January 2022 and September 2022.

Jiangxi Jinko or Jinko Solar says 57% of the shipments comprised n-type modules. The company attributes this growth in shipments to its 'extensive global marketing network, outstanding N-type technology, and advanced integrated capacity structure.'

With these volumes, as of September 30, 2023, the company says it has shipped a total of over 190 GW solar modules globally.

The management had recently raised the module shipment guidance for 2023 to between 70 GW and 75 GW. It now says Jiangxi Jinko's current order book exceeds its estimated module shipments for the full year 2023.

Recently at the TaiyangNews Solar Power Plant Developments Conference, JinkoSolar's Product Solution Manager Maple Hu shared the manufacturer's experience with the use of TOPCon technology with its Tiger Neo modules in large-scale power plants (see TaiyangNews Solar Power Plant Developments Conference).
