Peak Energy Investments. an independent power producer who develops, owns, and operates renewable assets across Asia, announced that it has inked a joint venture deal with Korea-based renewable developer TOPINFRA, with the aim of developing and managing over 500 MW of solar and battery projects.

As per the deal, Peak Energy will be investing in an operating and in-construction solar portfolio of over 70 MW, adding to its existing portfolio in Korea that includes a 100 MWp solar project in Jeollanam-do. The company will also be investing in pipeline development.

Consisting of a combination of solar and battery technologies for stable power generation, this portfolio of projects will contribute considerably to future renewable energy developments across Asia. This investment, the company said, highlights Peak Energy's commitment to supporting developers during the early phases of project development.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO of Peak Energy Gavin Adda said, "Peak Energy is focused on working with the best, long-term partners that we can find. We are very pleased to launch this joint venture with one of the top independent developers in Korea. TOPINFRA has proven capacity to develop and deliver projects quickly and safely.
