Chinese solar PV inverter manufacturer Sineng Electric has officially thrown open its new manufacturing facility in China, with a massive 10 GW capacity. The facility was put into operation on July 22, 2021.
The new manufacturing base of Sineng Electric is located in Tongxin County of China's Ningxia province. According to the company, it will enable Sineng Electric to enhance its capability to meet the growing demands of customers worldwide.
In January 2021, Sineng Electric said it is partnering with Ningxia Tongxin County People's Government and CNNC Rich Energy Corporation for the 10 GW inverter production line.
Commissioning of this project takes the company's Chinese solar inverter production capacity to 23 GW since it already has 13 GW operational in Wuxi region. Speaking during TaiyangNews virtual conference on Very High-Power Solar Modules in May 2021, Sineng Electric's Senior Product Manager Habibul Jack shared that his company plans to expand the capacity of its India located fab to 10 GW annually, up from 3 GW by Q3/2021 (see Day 2: TaiyangNews Very High-Power Solar Modules Conference).
Details of the 2-day conference are available on our website.
