A subsidiary of Zhongrun Solar, Zhongrun New Energy (Chuzhou) Co., Ltd., engaged in producing and selling of high-efficiency solar cells, announced that the production equipment for the first phase of its 16 GW large-scale high-efficiency solar cell facility has been installed at the site.

Being built in two phases, the facility will cater to integrated n-type TOPCon high-efficiency cell production line. The first phase plans to build 16 production lines, which on completion will produce 8 GW of large-size TOPCon cells annually.

Since the construction began, Zhongrun New Energy (Chuzhou) has been faced with challenges of hot weather and rains. However with the support of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau, the company has successfully completed the preliminary plant planning and construction in only 4 months, thus entering the equipment installation and commissioning stage.
