Talesun & ARTsolar to develop South Africa market; JinkoPower to help subsidiaries apply for financial leasing; Heshun's RMB 407.9 million 300 MW PV project takes off; Aiko Solar subsidiary to buy 16 PV solar cell production equipment from Zhuhai Max.

Talesun partners with ARTsolar: Solar PV company Talesun Solar announced that it has got into a co-operation agreement with South Africa's local manufacturer ARTsolar. As part of the collaboration, the two companies will jointly create greater business value by producing high-efficiency large-format PV modules locally in South Africa. This partnership will also meet the requirements of the South African Department of Mineral Resources and Energy Risk Mitigation IPP Procurement programme.

JinkoPower provides guarantees to subsidiaries: Clean energy provider JinkoPower announced that it will be providing liability guarantees to wholly-owned subsidiaries, Jinchang Jingliang and Jinchang Jingyang. This will enable the subsidiaries to apply for financial leasing and raise capital for the 300 MW project in Xipo Photovoltaic Park. The total guarantee amount will not exceed RMB 1.21 billion ($0.19 billion).

Heshun 300 MW PV power generation project begins: The ground-breaking ceremony of the first phase of Heshun 300 MW PV power generation project has taken place, according to local media reports. The construction of this project is being done by Jinneng Holding Power Group, the total investment is about RMB 407.9 million ($63.99 million), and the installed capacity will be 100 MW. The project is expected to be connected to the grid for power generation by October 30, 2022.

Aiko Solar to buy solar cell production equipment: Solar cell producer Aiko Solar announced that its subsidiary Zhuhai Toyama Aiko Solar has singed an equipment procurement contract with Zhuhai Max. The Chinese company plans to purchase solar cell production equipment from Zhuhai Max for a transaction amount of RMB 86.08 million ($13.50 million) for its new ABC cell project in Zhuhai base.
