Tongwei revenue for Q3/2022 reaches RMB 102 billion; YuanTech to invest in PV module facility; Shipping begins for SC New Energy n-type laser SE equipment

Tongwei Q3 performance report released: Tongwei Solar, announced its Q3/2022 result and stated that its revenue has touched RMB 102 billion ($14.04 billion), a year-on-year increase of 118.6%. The net profit was at RMB 21.73 billion ($2.9 billion), a year-on-year increase of 265.54%. The PV company, which is primarily active in silicon and solar cell production, attributed this growth to the strong market demand for its high purity crystalline silicon with prices rising year-on-year. Moreover, its cell business output increased significantly with the rise in production and sales. The superposition of new production capacity also ramped up quickly and achieved significant rise in volume and profit.

YuanTech Solar invests RMB 1.5 billion in PV module facility: Technology enterprise YuanTech Solar said via a WeChat communication that it plans to invest RMB 1.5 billion ($0.21 billion) to build a new high-efficiency photovoltaic module production facility. Based in Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, this facility will have an annual output of 5 GW. The company plans to deploy 10 production lines, mainly for the production of 182/210 new high-efficiency photovoltaic modules.

Shipping begins for S.C New Energy n-type laser SE equipment: Solar PV production equipment manufacturer S.C New Energy Technology Corporation said on its website that orders of its n-type TOPCon SE laser and special high-temperature equipment have entered the delivery stage. They will not only help customers reduce costs and increase efficiency, but also marks further improvement in its TOPCon line equipment technical capabilities.
