LONGi Hi-MO 5 Series Products Pass QVA Test & More From JinkoSolar, JH Solar, Sungrow

CSA/ANSI C450 test accreditation certificate for LONGi Hi-MO 5 series; JinkoSolar module facility put into operation; JH Solar partners with ROPYAL for cell modules; Sungrow Floating PV and Guangzhou Salvage Bureau to establish a JV.

LONGi Hi-MO 5 series products pass QVA test: Chinese vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi announced that its Hi-MO 5 series products have successfully cleared the Quality Value Assessment sequence test, and the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) has awarded the company with CSA/ANSI C450 test accreditation certificate. For this assessment, LONGi products had to undergo harsh tests like material tolerance test, high temperature and high humidity comprehensive test, high temperature cycle test, dynamic and static load test, and anti-PID test. On the basis of CSA/ANSI C450, few more tests sequences were added like LeTID, LID, Panfile, IAM and module backplane durability. Each and every test result proved that LONGi Hi-MO 5 series products are not only very reliable, but also excel in power generation performance, the company emphasized.

Phase I of JinkoSolar 24 GW module facility put into operation: The first phase of module supplier JinkoSolar’s 24 GW photovoltaic facility in Guangxin District has been put into production, local media channels reported. With an investment of RMB 10.8 billion ($1.6 billion), the construction has bene divided into three phases and the first phase was of 8 GW. On completion, the output value expected out of this facility is RMB 16 billion ($2.3 billion).

JH Solar partners with ROPYAL to expand cell  and module market: Diary company ROPYAL GROUP announced that its holding subsidiary, ROPYAL Agri-Photovoltaic Complementary (Guangxi) Technology Co., Ltd., will be establishing a new company in partnership with JH Solar. Engaged in photovoltaic equipment manufacturing, the new company will also be responsible for operating and managing investment in solar module and cell production facilities in China. As far as the equities are concerned, ROPYAL will hold 60%, while JH Solar will hold 40% of the shares.

Sungrow Floating PV join hands with Guangzhou Salvage Bureau: Floating PV system solutions provider Sungrow Floating PV said via WeChat that it has entered into an agreement with Guangzhou Salvage Bureau. Both parties will work together in the field of floating photovoltaics and jointly develop domestic and foreign markets. In January 2023, Green Power Energy Company Limited (GPE) of Myanmar had officially commissioned a 20 MW bifacial solar power plant in Mandalay region of the Asian nation, that’s equipped with 1500V string inverters from Sungrow (see Myanmar Officially Switches On 20 MW Solar Power Plant)
