JA Solar launches 6 GW cell & 6 GW module project: Chinese solar module producer JA Solar held the launching ceremony of 6 GW high-efficiency cell and 6 GW high-power module project in Yangzhou. The new project adopts industry advanced equipment and technology, and mainly produces 182mm large-size high-efficiency cells and DeepBlue 3.0 high-power modules. In June this year, JA Solar has launched a new module in its DeepBlue 3.0 series calling it DeepBlue 3.0 Pro (see DeepBlue 3.0 Pro New Module Launched By JA Solar). While the expansion is on PERC, at the upcoming TaiyangNews High Efficiency Solar Technologies, JA's Cell Technical Director Stellar Sean Jiang will be speaking on the company's progress on  HJT cell development. EFT & DEC sign RMB 7.7 mn solar plant deal: Power trader and operator Energy Financing Team (EFT) announced that it has signed an agreement with China's Dongfang Electric International Corporation (DEC) to construct a 60 MW solar plant in Bosnia. Last year, EFT had won a tender published by autonomous Serb Republic to build and operate the Bileca solar power plant in south-eastern Bosnia for 50 years. The project is expected to cost RMB 7.7 million ($49.3 million) and work will begin in the second quarter of 2022, with commercial operation scheduled by 2023. The plant is expected to have annual output of 84 GWh of electricity to be sold on the open market.

Astronergy Chint to take part in High Efficiency Solar Technologies Conference: On Day 3 of TaiyangNews' Virtual Conference on High Efficiency Solar Technologies with focus on TOPCon, Astronergy Chint Solar's Cell R&D Deputy Director Sheng He will speak on the topic: The Simple Introduction of TopCon Technology.
