Grace Solar supplies 98 MW solar racking in Yamaguchi: PV solar product manufacturer Grace Solar announced it has supplied 98 MW of solar racking equipment for a photovoltaic power station in Yamaguchi, Japan. The solution offered by the company is the GS-Smart Ground Mounting System Solution (Double Column Piling), which is suitable for large-scale ground power plants in various terrains. As Yamaguchi has over 90% of mountains and hills, and the terrain conditions are extremely complex, the project involves over 200 inclination angles.

Jinjing subsidiary's PV glass production line ignited: Jinjing Group has announced that the 500t/d production line for thin photovoltaic glass, constructed by the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Jinjing Technology Malaysia Co., Ltd., has been successfully ignited. The supporting 5 deep processing production lines were completed last year in July, and was officially put into production in Japan. Also last year, Jinjing Technology had raised RMB 1.4 billion for PV glass production projects in Ningxia & Malaysia (see China PV News Snippets: Jinjing, Arctech, Sungrow)

Zhonghuan Semiconductor backs loan application of subsidiary for 50 GW wafer line: Chinese solar wafer manufacturer Zhonghuan Semiconductor issued an announcement on providing guarantees for a subsidiary to apply for bank loans. According to the capital needs of its wholly owned subsidiary Ningxia Zhonghuan Photovoltaic Materials Co., Ltd., for the construction and operation of the project. Ningxia Zhonghuan plans to apply for a loan of no more than RMB 7.48 billion ($1.18 billion), which will be used for the construction of a 50 GW (G12) silicon wafer smart factory project.
