J.S. Machine expects 75.97% to 111.16% growth in H1/2021: Announcing its 2021 semi-annual results forecast, J.S. Machine announced that during the reporting period, the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was RMB 100 million ($15.47 million) to RMB 120 million ($18.56 million), a significant increase of 75.97% -111.16% from the same period last year. One of the reasons for this significant growth of both sales revenue and net profit in the reporting period is that the 'photovoltaic intelligent complete equipment' business has 'gained the trust and recognition of main customers in the industry by virtue of its strong technological development capability and superior quality assurance', the company said. In May, J.S.Machine's wholly-owned subsidiary – SC SOLAR – and Kunshan GCL Photoelectric Materials Co., Ltd. had signed a technology cooperation development agreement for perovskite tandem cells. Shuangliang successfully produces first silicon rod for large-size wafers: In the last week of June 2021, a large-size monocrystalline silicon rod was successfully produced for the first time in the R&D center of Shuangliang Eco-Energy Silicon Materials. This marked the successful trial production of large-size silicon wafers of Shuangliang Eco-Energy. Shuangliang is building a 40 GW production facility for monocrystalline silicon ingots in 2 phases, each with 20 GW.

JA Solar & State Power sign framework agreement: Solar PV Panel Manufacturer JA Solar signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with State Power Investment Northeast Corporation. As per the agreement, the two parties will further deepen cooperative relations and help in the country's energy green transformation and dual-carbon strategy. Last month, JA Solar launched a new module in its DeepBlue 3.0 series calling it DeepBlue 3.0 Pro with up to 605 W – this new generation of high-efficiency module was unveiled by the manufacturer at the SNEC exhibition in Shanghai (see DeepBlue 3.0 Pro New Module Launched By JA Solar)
