Jiayu signs contract for 200 MW PV project with Fuxin Jiaxin: EPC company Jiayu Group announced that its subsidiary, Liaoning Jiayu Building Energy Saving Technology has signed the general contract for a 200 MW PV power project with Fuxin Jiaxin Clean Energy Technology. The contract value is for RMB 830 million ($128.10 million) and the contract period is till June 30, 2022. The scope of the project contract includes all preliminary procedures, land and forestry procedures, real estate ownership certificates, EPC.

Almaden to raise RMB 1 bn for investment in PV glass: Solar glass and module manufacturer Changzhou Almaden announced that the company intends to raise RMB 1 billion ($0.15 billion) to invest in large size, high power ultra-thin photovoltaic glass and BIPV anti-glare intelligent deep processing projects.  In March, Almaden had released its annual performance report for the year 2020, and had announced that it has achieved an operating income of RMB 1.803 billion ($0.28 billion), an increase of 52.22% compared with the same period last year (see China PV News Snippets: HIUV, JA Solar, Trina, Almaden)

King Stone to acquire SinoPower Solar for 6.67 mn: In an announcement, King Stone Energy Group said that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary First Gain Global Limited has completed acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital in SinoPower Solar Investment from SinoPower Holding (Hong Kong), which is an independent third party of the Company, for RMB 6.67 million ($ 1.03 million). SinoPower is a limited liability company established in Hong Kong and is an integrated project developer and investor of distribution type of solar energy projects. It has a pipeline of solar projects with an on-grid power generation capacity of approximately 20 MW.

Golden Glass to invest RMB 832 mn in 1.2 GW HJT solar cell project: Golden Glass, in an announcement, said it has decided to build a 1.2 GW large-size half-cell ultra-high efficiency heterojunction solar cell and module production project in Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The total investment is about RMB 832 million ($128.41 million), and the construction period is about 8 months.

Jinchen Solar HJT cell PECVD machine arrives at Jinergy: The heterojunction solar cell PECVD  equipment developed by Chinese production equipment supplier Jinchen Solar reportedly arrived at HJT cell and module manufacturer Jinergy. The two have a joint strategic cooperation on research and development of amorphous silicon thin film process and module technology, based on a ‘new type of PECVD for heterojunction HJT solar cells.’
