Shanxi Institute of Energy builds 39 MW PV project in Cambodia: As per Chinese solar blog PV Men, the 39 MW PV project in Cambodia, which was contracted and constructed by the Shanxi Institute of Energy China Group, has been successfully grid-connected. Located in in Banteay Meanchey Province, this is a local energy project with the largest installed capacity and the first full-capacity grid-connected project among the five PV demonstration projects approved by the Cambodian government.
TCL shareholding in Zhonghuan Semiconductor rises to 27.87%: Keeping in view the long-term development of new energy and semiconductor industries, TCL, the indirect controlling shareholder of leading wafer producer Tianwei Zhonghuan Semiconductor (TZS), has increased its shareholding in the company. Up till now, TCL has been directly holding 78 million shares of Zhonghuan Semiconductor, and indirectly holding 767 million shares. With the increased holdings, the total number of shares are now 845 million, accounting for 27.87% of the total share capital of Zhonghuan Semiconductor.
Chint Group & China Three Gorges sign strategic cooperation agreement: Chint Group and China Three Gorges Renewables Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. As per the agreement, both the companies will conduct all-round cooperation in price parity bidding, global new energy market development, power operation and maintenance, power market construction, and product cooperation.
