Sungrow to supply inverters & batteries to Juwi: Solar PV inverter supplier Sungrow announced that it will be supplying equipment to German-based renewable energies specialist Juwi for its 36 MW off-grid solar farm and a 7.5 MW battery energy storage system at Sukari gold mine Egypt. Sungrow will be providing 1,500V 6.25 MW PV inverter solution and the highly integrated energy storage system with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The project will be commissioned in the first half of 2022.

Growatt releases 2nd generation inverter for off-grid solar applications: Aiming to provide clear and convenient access to green energy, residential inverter supplier Growatt launches its second generation off-grid inverter SPF 3000T HVM-G2. The SPF 3000T HVM-G2 inverter is an all-in-one product for off-grid power systems, and consists of built-in MPPT charge controller, AC charger and inverter with low frequency transformer, which allows for surge power at three times of the rated power to support motor-type loads or inductive loads.
