ZNShine Solar delivers 182mm solar module to Vietnam: Module manufacturer ZNShine Solar successfully delivered its first 182mm module order to Vietnam. The Light-Weight Double Glass half-cell module based on 182 mm bifacial cells, with 10 busbars and a power output of 530 W was manufactured at its Jintan site. The module adopts advanced non-destructive cutting and high-density interconnection technology. Few days ago, ZNShine's new photovoltaic modules had successfully passed Brazil INMETRO certification (see China Snippets: Canadian, Chint, Jinko, ZNShine, Risen)

Largest floating PV system in Vietnam completed with Sungrow products: A 70 MW surface floating power station, which is supposed to be the largest in Vietnam, has been successfully completed by solar PV inverter, mounting systems supplier and developer Sungrow. Built on two adjacent lakes, the project uses Sungrow's floating solar system products and solutions. Recently, Sungrow announced strengthening its international expansion with new projects in Dubai and Vietnam (see China Snippets: Canadian, Chint, Jinko, ZNShine, Risen)

ReneSola's 10 rooftop projects receive renewable energy subsidies: Chinese solar power project developer ReneSola announced that the Ministry of Finance of China has agreed to grant subsidies to the company's 10 distributed rooftop solar projects. The subsidies are expected to be issued in 2021. In March 2020, the Finance Ministry had proposed to conduct a batch review of renewable energy projects that were completed before July 31, 2017 or have received a feed-in tariff (FIT) for PV systems in 2019. ReneSola has 32 such projects that have made it to the qualified list. Out of which 10 projects with a total of 28 MW have received subsidy approvals, while the remaining 22 with a total of 62 MW are still under review.

Datang Group and Guangdong Province sign strategic agreement: About 11 central enterprises, including China's Datang Group, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Guangdong Province. According to this agreement, Datang will deepen cooperation in key areas and increase investment and development in Guangdong in the next five years. The company will also accelerate the development of new models and business forms such as distributed multi-energy, smart micro-grid, wind and solar energy storage, and vigorously develop offshore and onshore wind power and PV industries.
