Chuangu Technology starts construction on high-efficiency HJT PV module factory: Chuangu Technology recently broke ground on its high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing facility. The company expects to invest about RMB 400 million ($54.8 million) into the facility which will be built over an area of 80.08 acres. Once operational, the fab is expected to generate more than RMB 2 billion ($274 million) in revenues.
Yonker wins BIPV photovoltaic power generation project: Environmental management services provider Yonker has announced that it has signed a contract for the construction of distributed rooftop PV power stations with Hunan Yongxin. Being built on a building integrated PV (BIPV) model, it effectively avoids the risk of water leakage when built on traditional color steel tiles. The capacity and financial details of the contract are unknown at present.
Ganjing Garden signs PV module supply contract: Ganjing Garden has announced that its controlling subsidiary Guosheng New Energy has signed a framework agreement with CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. As part of the contract, CGN New Energy will procure an estimated RMB 1.25 billion (tax included) worth of PV modules from Guosheng New Energy. The contract value is calculated with reference to the current market price, the purchase price is an adjustable unit price, and the final settlement price is based on the cumulative amount of the actually executed orders. In August 2023, Ganjing Garden had announced the termination of its capital raise program (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
