With modified manufacturing line producing its first TOPCon cell, Astronergy manufacturing capacity has now touched 36 GW; Jiangxi Haiyuan Composites and Wuxi Fuchuan to develop GW-level HJT production line.
Astronergy PERC to TOPCon modification successful: PV module manufacturer Astronergy announced that its C3 facility in Haining, which is inits third phase, has produced its first TOPCOn cell. Astronergy has initiated PERC-to-TOPCon cell manufacturing line modifications, and C3 had started the transition upgrade in April. By May, the facility was able to produce the first TOPCon cells. This year, the focus of Astronergy has been on growing the manufacturing capacity of n-type TOPCon cells and modules – and with the addition of this modified TOPCon line, Astronergy’s TOPCon manufacturing capacity touches 36 GW. In Dec. 2022, TaiyangNews had visited the TOPCon production facility of the company at Astronergy Industrial Park in Haining, Zhejiang province, China and interviewed the top executives of the company— CTO Alex Hsu, R&D Director He Sheng and Product Director Jack Zhou (see N-type Is The Way To Go & TOPCon Is The Choice For Now).
Astronergy will be part of TaiyangNews Global PV System Technology Trends H1/2023 Virtual Conference that will take place on 27-28 June 2023. For free registration to the event, click here now.
