JA Solar ships DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules for Bangladesh's first n-type PV plant: JA Solar has announced that it has shipped its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro n-type modules for the "HKGE 48MW PV Plant" in Bangladesh. The project is a collaboration with NORINCO International Cooperation, an incorporated company affiliated to China North Industries Corporation. It is said to be the 1st large-scale n-type solar PV project in Bangladesh, and it exclusively uses JA Solar's DeepBlue 4.0 Pro n-type modules. The company says that these modules are well suited to Bangladesh's environmental characteristics of high temperatures, significant precipitation, and prominent monsoons.

JA Solar's DeepBlue 4.0 Pro recently secured an A+ certificate from CGC (see China Solar PV News Snippets).

Trina Solar gets Carbon Footprint certification for its full range of n-type Vertex modules: Trina Solar has announced that it has secured Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) Verification by UL Solutions for its full range of Vertex n-type modules. The company claims the carbon footprint of its Vertex N 720W series, Vertex N 625W modules and Vertex S+ modules can be as low as 400 kg/kW. The certification is based on the requirements of ISO 14067 and life cycle assessment methodology. Trina Solar has also obtained EPD certifications from UL Solutions, apart from EPD Italy certification for its Vertex series.

Separately, the company also announced that it has secured the ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management International Standard certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
