The Danish Energy Agency has awarded in a tender a total of 19 MW of solar PV with system capacity of up to 1 MW. A total of 19 projects from 8 bidders were selected finally, out of 18 bids received from 11 bidders offering a total of 21.1 MW. The agency had launched the tender in September 2018 for projects below 1 MW with an aim to procure 35 MW capacity (see Tender For Less Than 1 MW PV Projects In Denmark).

Against the bid cap of DKK 0.15 ($0.024) per kWh, winning tariffs ranged from DKK 0.1000 ($0.015) to DKK 0.149 ($0.022) per kWh, with a weighted average of DKK 0.1297 ($0.020) per kWh. The agency expects to sign contracts for a total of DKK 62.2 million ($9.37 million).

All the winning projects need to be connected to the grid within 2 years from the date of signing the contracts that will be valid for a period of 20 years. Detailed list of winning projects and their locations is available on the agency's website.
