Dutch solar PV projects developer Sunvest BV has raised €25 million financing for a solar PV portfolio of 420 MW combined capacity in the Netherlands which will be established in the form of 16 projects across the country.

The company has already won government funding under the country's Renewable Energy Support Scheme (SDE) for these 16 projects. The projects are all yet-to-be-built over the coming years, to be operated by the company.

It raised the finance from France's Sienna Private Credit, previously known as Acofi Gestion, that's an alternative investment hub for real assets and private equity through its investments in unlisted companies.

Calling itself a natural solar parks developer which enables it to develop PV projects with detailed attention for landscape and social integration, Sunvest says it has more than 1 GW PV capacity under development in Benelux, France and Germany.

In May 2020, it announced working with Triodos Renewables Europe Fund for 112 MW solar capacity in the Netherlands (see Plans For 112 MW Solar In Netherlands).
