Goodwe Launches New SMT Series Inverter For Korean Market

  • Goodwe launches Its new SMT series three-phase string inverter for Korean solar market.
  • The new SMT series inverter is certified to KS standard (Korean Industrial Standard).
  • The new SMT series inverters are now available in Korean market.

Goodwe, the world’s leading PV inverter manufacturer and smart energy solution provider listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 688390)recently launched its new three-phase SMT series 50/60kW string inverters suitable for both small, medium to large scale residential and commercial applications. The new SMT series models’ names are GW50K-SMT-KR and GW60K-SMT-KR.

The new SMT series models are customized and upgraded specifically for the Korean domestic and commercial market. This October, new SMT series models got KS (korean industrial standard) certifications, which complied the standards set by the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation (KESCO).

The new SMT series 50/60kW inverters possess multiple MPPT configuration (6 MPPT) with high efficiency at 98.8%. The low starting voltage at 180V and wide MPPT voltage range at 200V to 950V, ensuring the inverter’s early morning generation including low sunlight condition like in early morning , evening time, and cloudy weather. This boost the overall power generation of the inverter. This new SMT models are compatible with high form factor bifacial modules with very high short circuit current (Isc). The additional safety and reliability functions like anti arc fault control functionality (AFCI) and in-built anti PID kit configuration, makes the new SMT series models compliant to Korean Industrial and Rooftop RE100 scheme.

The new SMT series 50/60kw inverters are user friendly with LCD display, easy to install and suitable for optimum maintenance.
