Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is looking for consultants to help it carry out a detailed feasibility study to assess development of solar power plants at its lands for captive utilization of the energy generated.
Projects can be sited at various places in different states with power to be used by its operating locations, within the respective state's solar policy and government guidelines. It has vacant land for the purpose available in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, Rajasthan, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
Broad scope of work comprises assessment of solar resources and project site at a given location, estimation of energy generation from the proposed plant, preparation of power evacuation report, details of open access charges applicable, study of the consumption pattern and electricity tariff, cost estimates, among other tasks.
Selected consultant will also design solar power plant layout on the surveyed land and rooftops for the subsidiary of the federal government's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
