Solar module procurement tender from NTPC; HeidelbergCement India installs 5.5 MW solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh; BHEL launches module cleaning systems tender.

NTPC launches solar module tender: State owned Indian utility NTPC Ltd is soliciting proposals from interested suppliers for a total of 16,000 solar PV panels having a power output of 300W, according to a new tender launched. Specifically, it requires 15,000 and 1,000 solar panels to be supplied within next 3 months. It will deploy these panels for Bhadla Solar project. Last date to submit bids is April 29, 2022. Tender details can be found on NTPC's e-procurement website with tender reference number NTPC/USSC-CPG1/9900237530.

HeidelbergCement India gets 5.5 MW solar plant: A subsidiary of German cement maker HeidelbergCement Group, HeidelbergCement India has commissioned a 5.5 MW solar power plant for its mining area in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The project is likely to generate 10 GWh annually which will replace electricity purchased by the company under short term open access from the grid. The cement operations here will be able to avoid 225,000 tons of CO2 emissions during the life of the solar power plant.   

BHEL's module cleaning tender for 100 MW solar: Government of India (GoI) enterprise Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is looking for contractors for design, supply and commissioning of module cleaning system for 100 MW solar power plant at Raghanesda Phase-I in Gujarat. Broad scope of work involves operation and maintenance also, all for a period of 3 months. The project is owned by Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL). Launched on April 13, 2022, last date for bid submission is April 25, 2022 as per the tender notification on BHEL's website. The notification no. for this one is TGPBOS0066.
