Argentina's 48 MW solar tender: Argentina's state-run mining company Jujuy Energia y Mineria Sociedad del Estado (Jemse) has launched a solar tender for 48 MW in the province of Jujuy under phase I. The distributed solar project will need to be set up in the form of 12 solar PV plants. Broad scope of work includes construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the parks and connecting these to the local EJESA distribution network. Last date to submit proposals is March 3, 2022 and bids will be opened the same day. Tender details are available on Jujuy government's website.

YPF Luz's green bond for solar: Argentina's power generation company YPF Luz has issued its 1^st green bond for $63.9 million to construct and operate its 1^st solar park with 100 MW capacity, expandable to 300 MW. It will be located in Bella Vista town in the department of Iglesia, San Juan province. The Zonda Solar Park will sell clean energy to large users and industrial clients in the Term Market for Renewable Energies (MATER). YPF Luz said on achieving all its stages, the project will expand the current renewable energy generation capacity by 25% in the province.

EGP's 503 MW hybrid RE project moves forward: Enel Green Power Peru (EGPP) has secured a temporary concession from Peruvian Energy and Mines Ministry for Salinar wind and solar facility having an estimated capacity of 503 MW. According to a report by BNamericas, the temporary concession allows the company to carry out feasibility studies in Santiago district of Ica region within 24 months. The period may be extended by another year under terms and conditions.
