Ideal Energy acquires Idea Technology to complete HJT whole line integration: Ideal Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ideal Energy Sunflower Vacuum Equipment (Taixing) Ltd,has completed the acquisition of Hefei Idea Technology. This acquisition will enable Ideal Energy to complete its heterojunction-whole-line integration, the company said in a release. Since its establishment in 2015, Idea Technology has been focusing on PV HJT automated transmission system and semiconductor logistics storage devices, and has accumulated experience in non-standard automation industry. Meanwhile, earlier this year, Akcome Technology and Ideal Energy (Shanghai) Sunflower Thin Film Equipment Ltd had got into a complete line-of-equipment purchase agreement for the first phase of Akcome's Taixing High-efficiency HJT Project (see China PV News Snippets: JinkoPower, Gaojing, State Grid)

Shuangliang's 40 GW silicon ingot/wafer facility 1st phase put into operation: The first phase of solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy's 40 GW monocrystalline silicon project has been successfully put into production, the company said. The first phase comprised 20 GW. In Mach,  the company ventured into wafer and ingot production and announced its plans to build 40 GW ingot and 40 GW large size monocrystalline silicon wafer production lines (see Shuangliang Eco-Energy: 40 GW Mono Wafer Capacity)

SPIC strives for over 80 GW PV capacity by 2025: At the China PV Industry High-Quality Development Forum, co-hosted by SPIC and China's PV Industry Association, SPIC proposed to consolidate its green energy supply capacity and strive to reach more than 80 GW of installed PV power generation by 2025, a Photovoltaic Network News report said. SPIC reported that its installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation has increased six times since 2016 and now exceeds 35 GW (see China PV News Snippets)
