The JV established by Zhongshan Public Utilities with EGing focuses on PV power generation; Shuangliang Eco-Energy invests RMB 600 million in subsidiary; Golden Glass produces 210 HJT cells.
Zhongshan Public Utilities & EGing PV Optoelectronics establish JV: State-owned company, Zhongshan Public Utilities Group, announced that the company and solar photovoltaic product manufacturing company EGing PV’s holding subsidiary, Changzhou EGing PV, have come together to establish a joint venture company. The registered capital of the new company is RMB 100 million ($15.69 million), of which Zhongshan Public Utilities Group has contributed RMB 70 million ($10.98 million), accounting for 70% of the registered capital, and EGing PV Optoelectronics has invested RMB 30 million ($4.71 million), accounting for 30% of the registered capital. The business scope of the joint venture includes the development, investment, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power generation and distributed energy.
Shuangliang Eco-Energy forays into PV modules: Solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced plans to invest about RMB 600 million ($94.12 million) in the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary – Shuangliang New Energy Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. (tentative name). The new company will deal in the operation of high-efficiency photovoltaic module projects with an annual output of 20 GW. It will also carry out investment, construction and production of large-scale module projects in Baotou.
Golden Glass 210 large-size HJT cells produced: Supplier of high-end special building glass Golden Glass said that its 210 large-size heterojunction cells have been successfully produced. This project is supposed to be the first GW-level mass-produced 210 heterojunction production line in China, and has a single line capacity of 600 MW. Its heterojunction mass production efficiency is about 24.5% or more, and the power of its PV modules is about 700W+.
