Guangdong No.2 signs EPC deal with Xuwen Huazhong: Renewable energy engineering constructor Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering said that it has signed an EPC contract with Xuwen Huazhong New Energy Co., Ltd. for a 300 MW agricultural PV power station in Xuwen County. The contract value is RMB 1.29 billion ($0.20 billion). In December 2021, Guangdong No.2 had announced that it will spend RMB 4.15 bn on PV & energy projects (see China PV News Snippets)
TBEA to invest RMB 17.6 billion in polysilicon project: Solar PV inverter company TBEA announced that in order to further increase the market share of polysilicon products, its subsidiary, Xinte Energy, plans to invest in the construction of a 200,000-ton polysilicon project in Zhundong Industrial Park. The total investment of this project is about RMB 17.6 billion ($2.77 billion), and the construction will be divided into two phases – with each phase producing 100,000 tons per year. JinkoPower to build PV base project in Shuangbai: In an announcement, PV power station operator JinkoPower said that together with the government of Shuangbai County it will be building a 2 GW PV demonstration base project in Shuangbai County. JinkoPower will be responsible for the planning, approval, construction and operation. The approval procedures will be completed within half a year after the entrustment agreement is signed.
