Jinjing PV products pass LONGi inspection: Chinese glass developer and producer Jinjing Group released an announcement saying that its photovoltaic glass production line products have passed the inspection of LONGi Solar. The company added that the first batch of 3 million square meters of orders (2mm panel and backsheet) has been signed, and the agreement has entered the implementation stage. In February, Jinjing had signed a cooperation agreement with vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi Solar and its three subsidiaries.
Wujun's 1st phase of 10 GW wafer project to be put into production: Subsidiary of Hebang Biotechnology, Wujun Solar, had invested RMB 3 billion ($0.47 billion) in Anhui Fuxing New Energy Technology to build a 10 GW N+ type ultra-high-efficiency monocrystalline solar wafer project. As per a media report, the foundation part of the first-phase of the project has been completed, and is expected to be officially put into production after June. Hebang Biotechnology said that this is one of the first large-scale projects producing N+ type ultra-efficient monocrystalline solar wafer project in China.
China Longyuan signs new energy project deal: New technologies developer China Longyuan Shanxi Company and the People's Government of the Suburbs of Yangquan City, Shanxi Province have signed a framework agreement to develop 1000 MW new energy projects. Out of this, 600 MW will be photovoltaic project, while 400 MW will be wind power project. The project relies on the high-quality solar and wind resources, and also the good industrial foundation in the suburbs of Yangquan to carry out the construction of new energy projects.
