China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy’s subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has received the bid-winning document from Xinjiang Qiya Silicon Industry Co., Ltd; PVInfoLink reports rise in polysilicon wafers price.

Shuangliang Eco-Energy wins RMB 411 million reduction furnace bid: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy said in an announcement, that its subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has received the bid-winning document from Xinjiang Qiya Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. It confirms that the subsidiary has won the bid for the 100,000-ton reduction furnace project in the first phase of the 200,000-ton annual high-purity crystalline silicon project. The winning bid amount is estimated to be about RMB 411 million ($61.71 million). Last month, Shuangliang Eco-Energy had signed a RMB 324 million sales deal (see China PV News Snippets)

Rise in polysilicon wafers price: As per a report released by PVInfoLink, the average price of polycrystalline silicon wafer (157mm) is now priced at RMB 3.05/piece ($0.46/piece), an increase of 3.4%. In April, a report was released as to how the price of silicon material has continued to rise because of the silicon material enterprises in various places in China being affected by the local epidemic (see China PV News Snippets)
