JinkoSolar to supply 550 MW Tiger Neo modules: Module supplier JinkoSolar stated in a press release that it will supply up to 550 MW of its N-type Tiger Neo panels to power producer and solar developer in China – State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC). Last year, JinkoSolar had introduced Tiger Neo N-type TOPCon module at TaiyangNews conference (see JinkoSolar introduces Tiger Neo N type modules) Meanwhile, at the recently concluded Intersolar Munich Review Conference, Head of Technical Service and Product Management at JinkoSolar, Roberto Murgioni talked about a rooftop variant of N-type Tiger Neo module which it launched for the European market at Intersolar Europe 2022 (see Roberto Murgioni, JinkoSolar:A Rooftop Variant of Tiger Neo from the world's largest TOPCon Producer)

Tarim Oilfield builds 98 PV power stations: In an announcement, China National Petroleum Corporation Tarim Oilfield Branch said that it has completed building 98 photovoltaic power stations in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert. This would mean ushering in green irrigation in the desert and replacing diesel engine power generation for irrigation. Towards this, the company said that since January this year, it has transformed about 86 diesel generator water-source wells to photovoltaic power generation sources.

Haiyuan Composites to invest in 600 MW HJT project: New energy technology based supplier Haiyuan Composites said that it plans to invest in a 600 MW high-efficiency heterojunction cell production project in Xinyu City. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, which manufactures photovoltaic equipment and modules, Xinyu Saiwei Energy Technology, will be the main body of investment. The planned project investment is about RMB 355 million ($53 million), and the construction period is expected to last for 18 months.

Sunrise East wins Huadian Jiangsu's rooftop distributed PV project bid: Solar energy company Sunrise East said that it has won the first phase of Huadian Jiangsu's EPC project, which is a rooftop distributed PV power generation project with a capacity of 120 MW. The first phase will cover some of the available residential roof resources in 10 townships and streets within the jurisdiction of Ganyu District. The bid amount for the first phase is about RMB 196 million ($29.40 million). The entire project has a total installed capacity of 565 MW and the total investment is about RMB 2.26 billion ($0.34 billion).

Jinchen and Adani Solar sign 2 GW PV module deal: National high-tech enterprise in China Jinchen Corp has signed an agreement with Indian solar company Adani Solar, a media report said. As per the agreement, Jinchen Corp will provide Adani with a 2 GW photovoltaic module high-efficiency automatic production line. Last year too, Jinchen had agreed to supply 2 GW capacity to Adani (see India PV News Snippets: AP, Goldi, Jinchen, ACME, Waaree). Till now, Jinchen Corp has provided Adani with 4 GW of high-end photovoltaic module manufacturing equipment.
