Palette Business Solutions to distribute JinkoSolar’s battery system units and LFP container storage system; China Three Gorges begins construction of its PV power generation project in Fengjie; Chint Solar’s Haining project – phase 3 takes off.

JinkoSolar strikes 50 MWh ESS deal with Palette: PV module manufacturer JinkoSolar announced that it has got into a 50 MWh distribution energy storage system (ESS) agreement with Palette Business Solutions Limited, a renewable energy firm focused on distribution of solar energy products. As per the agreement, Palette will distribute JinkoSolar’s battery system units and LFP container storage system. JinkoSolar believes that together with Palette, its ESS solutions can bring new development opportunities to Nigeria and make renewable electricity accessible and affordable to every household and factory in Nigeria. JinkoSolar recently added ESS to its product portfolio, which it introduced during Intersolar Europe. China Three Gorges begins 230 MW PV project: China Three Gorges Corporation has started the construction of its 230 MW photovoltaic power generation project in Fengjie, according to local media reports. Once this project is put into operation, the annual revenue will be RMB 17 million ($2.54 million). Earlier this year, ecological restoration company Elion Group had revealed plans to set up two joint ventures with Three Gorges Erdos, a subsidiary of China Three Gorges New Energy Group (see China PV News Snippets)

Chint’s Phase 3 of Haining project takes off: Specialized subsidiary of the CHINT group and engaged in PV power station development and PV module production, Chint Solar, said that phase 3 of its cell facility project in Haining Plant has taken off. This project adopts the n-type TOPCon technology route, with an annual production capacity of 4 GW.
