Trina plans to raise RMB 8.8 billion funds; TCL Zhonghuan silicon wafer prices released; Huasun Energy breaks its former HJT module power record; Xinyi Electric & CHINA GWELL strike film production line deal.
Trina to issue RMB 8.8 billion convertible bonds: Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar, in a press release, stated that it plans to issue convertible corporate bonds to raise about RMB 8.8 billion ($1.3 billion). This fund will be used to deploy N-type silicon rod production capacity, provide support for the company's N-type battery module production, and improve the company's industrial chain layout. Earlier this month, Trina had unveiled a major industrial project which will get it into the entire industrial solar PV value chain (see Trina Announces Massive Solar PV Production Plans)
TCL Zhonghuan releases monocrystalline silicon wafers prices: Chinese solar wafer manufacturer TCL Zhonghuan, owner of TZS, recently announced its lastest silicon wafer prices. This time, the prices have increased in different ranges. The details are as follows:
Huasun Energy HJT module power increased to 500 W: Chinese solar panel manufacturer Huasun Energy announced that its M6-144 microcrystalline high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) module has been tested and certified by TÜV SÜD. The output power of the module has now reached 500.7 W, and the full-area conversion efficiency has now exceeded 23%, breaking its former 2021 record of 22.7% (see 22.70% HJT Solar Module Efficiency). The module uses an optimized single-sided microcrystalline heterojunction cell process, combined with SMBB multi-busbar technology, to effectively reduce power loss and improve module conversion efficiency. Xinyi Electric & CHINA GWELL strike film production line deal: Hong Kong based automotive glass repair and replacement service provider Xinyi Electric Storage said that its subsidiary Anhui Xinyi Materials and CHINA GWELL MACHINERY, a plastic film, sheet and profile extrusion lines manufacturer, have entered into a PV film production line deal. The new line will produce different types of photovoltaic film products to strengthen the production capacity of Xinyi Electric Storage. These products can be used as encapsulation materials for solar modules. This move is aligned with the Group's plan of further expanding its photovoltaic production business, the company added.
