China Energy & Henan Kaifeng sign RMB 15 bn low-carbon agreement: Advanced energy engineering conglomerate China Energy Engineering Group has signed an agreement with Kaifeng, Henan Province for a RMB 15 billion ($2.34 billion) low-carbon smart city energy construction demonstration project. This project, which will be completed in the next five years, will cover wind power, photovoltaic, hydrogen energy and other green new energy fields.

Southeast Space & Tianjin Port Committee sign 1 GW PV agreement: Diversified high-tech enterprise group Zhejiang Southeast Space Frame Co., Ltd announced that it has signed a BIPV building integration investment framework agreement with Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Management Committee. The project scale is about 1,000 MW. In May, Southeast Space had announced that it will acquire 51% equity of Zhejiang First New Energy Development Co., Ltd., held by Hangzhou First (see China PV News Snippets: TZS, GCL, Zhejiang Southeast Space)

Golden Solar signs 20 GW HJT agreement with Jiangsu: Golden Solar Silicon Science & Technology (Xu Zhou) Co., Ltd., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of material science company Golden Solar New Energy, has entered into an agreement with Xuzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone Management Committee in relation to a 20 GW large-sized heterojunction silicon wafer project, the company said in a release. As per the agreement, to support the development of the heterojunction silicon wafer project, Xuzhou Committee will provide infrastructure facilities and cash up to RMB 400 million ($62.52 million), and other economic support for the Group to continuously expand wafer production capacity.

Fangda to build BIPV & distributed PV project in Wanan: In an announcement, China-based solar PV systems manufacturer Fangda Group said it signed with the People's Government of Wanan County a cooperation agreement for building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) and distributed photovoltaic power generation projects in the County.

Guangzhou wins 500 MW PV project construction target in Guangxi: The Energy Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region recently issued Notice on the 2021 Market-Oriented Onshore Wind Power, Photovoltaic Power Generation and Multi-energy Complementary Project Construction Plan. A 300 MW agricultural PV energy storage integration project and 200 MW PV energy storage integration project applied by Guangzhou Development New Energy Company have successfully entered the catalogue, the integrated energy business company said in a release.
