JinkoSolar secures 20 GW Tiger Neo panels orders: Module supplier JinkoSolar announced that as per the estimates recorded on its n-type model tracker, the company has been able to obtain pre-sold orders of over 20 GW Tiger Neo panels. The Tiger Neo was launched in mid-November 2021 (see JinkoSolar introducing Tiger Neo N-type TOPCon module at TaiyangNews conference). And in a span of less than 9 months, the company has been able to achieve this remarkable feat. Since its launch, the Tiger Neo panel has performed quite well and most of these panels are sold in Europe, China, Latin America, MENA. Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of JinkoSolar Dany Qian, said: "This year, the industry has responded well to the n-type transition, the growing popularity of Tiger Neo is encouraging, sales are strong to offset a big rising of the raw material cost seen across the entire supply chain."

Trina 600 W+ modules power generation gain per watt at 2.1%: In a WeChat communication, Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar said that it had partnered with third-party testing agency TÜV Rheinland and CPVT China National Photovoltaic Quality Inspection Center to conduct empirical research under different latitudes, different temperatures and different irradiation conditions around the world. The research compared Trina Supreme 600 W+ modules with general 500 W+ module power generation. The results showed that Trina Solar 600 W+ module's measured power generation is higher than that of the reference module at high, medium and low latitudes, and also the power generation gain per watt is as high as 2.1%.

Autowell inks RMB 80 million sales contract: Automation equipment manufacturer Autowell Technology said that it will be selling wafer sorting machines to Guangdong Jinwan Gaojing Solar Technology and Sichuan Gaojing Solar Technology. Both of them are subsidiaries of PV module company, Gaojing Solar. The sales contract amounts to RMB 80 million ($11.18 million). Earlier in July this year, Autowell had signed a sales contract for 160-type single crystal furnace (see China PV News Snippets)

Pacific Quartz to invest RMB 3.2 billion in quartz material projects: High-end quartz materials manufacturer and seller Pacific Quartz said in an announcement that it plans to invest about RMB 3.2 billion ($0.45 billion) to construct a series of semiconductor quartz material projects (phase 3).It expects the price of Pacific Quartz products to rise, thanks to the continuous high boom in downstream demand in photovoltaic, semiconductor and other industries, and this in turn will drive the company's performance growth.

Shuangliang Eco-Energy & Hoshine Silicon sign RMB 429 million sales deal: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced that its holding subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has got into a sales contract with silicon company Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd.
