LONGi to supply high efficient modules to Thailand project: Chinese vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi announced that it has joined hands with Symbior Solar and Blue Solar and will be supporting the completion of the 72kWp PV + 266kWh ESS + 60 kVA genset micro-grid system at Koh Jik island, Thailand. Symbior and Blue Solar are project investors to the Koh Jik ReCharge project that is being developed by founder of ReCharge Energy Tanai Potisat. Speaking about this development, Vice President of LONGi Group Dennis She said, "We are happy to be a part of such a flagship project and appreciate Symbior and Blue Solar's trust in LONGi. Micro-grid project is extremely difficult to develop as its business model is usually unsustainable. We hope that Koh Jik ReCharge project can set a good example in the region and more people can benefit from rural electrification." Meanwhile, Tanai Potisat said that he is confident that LONGi's highly efficient panels will be able to support and produce electricity for the community for the next 25 years.

Anhui Royal and Yingli Solar sign 6 GW TOPCon order: Solar power generation technical services company, Anhui Royal Green Energy Technology, and solar photovoltaic cell and module producer, Yingli Solar, have signed a 6 GW TOPCon cell sales deal, local media reports said. Both the parties intend to form a long-term partnership for photovoltaic modules and TOPCon cells. Earlier this month, Anhui Royal and Jetion Solar had partnered for 6 GW TOPCon cells (see China PV News Snippets).

S.C New Energy wins perovskite cell evaporation equipment order: PV equipment manufacturer S.C New Energy Technology Corporation announced that it has won a bid order for self-developed perovskite co-evaporation vacuum coating equipment from a global leading photovoltaic company. Earlier too, the company had obtained a reactive plasma coating equipment from national academy of sciences and a perovskite low-temperature low-loss thin film vacuum deposition equipment from a central enterprise research institute.

Hunan Yujing bags RMB 93.6 million equipment order: Technology-based enterprise Hunan Yujing Machinery announced that it has got into an equipment purchase deal with PV equipment and modules seller Gaojing Solar. As per the deal, Gaojing Solar will buy from Huan Yujing its slicing machines worth RMB 93.6 million ($13 million) (tax included).
