Jiaxing Niceway invests RMB 150 mn to produce PV & semiconductor components: The Haiyan official website announced that high-precision mechanical accessories producer Jiaxing Niceway Precision Machinery has signed a contract for the production and construction of photovoltaic and semiconductor components in Baibu Economic Development Zone, Haiyan. With an investment of RMB 150 million ($21.3 million), the facility which will have a CNC surface grinder and CNC lathe, among other things, and will produce annually 400,000 sets of ceramic products for photovoltaic and semiconductor equipment, 35,000 sets of pure silicon fixtures for semiconductor equipment, and 5,000 sets of silicon carbide products for photovoltaic and semiconductor equipment. The facility is expected to go into production by early 2025, and the annual sales then is expected to touch RMB 200 million ($28.4 million).
Hunan Red Sun’s perovskite cell core equipment successfully delivered: Over a WeChat communication, new energy product research and development company Hunan Red Sun said that it has shipped its independently-developed perovskite magnetron sputtering coating equipment. The equipment was successfully delivered to an unidentified technology research and development center of a domestic photovoltaic enterprise. In July this year, Hunan Red Sun had shipped its first PVD and ALD coating equipment for perovskite cells (see China PV News Snippets)
Zhaoxin subsidiary to build 400 MW PV power generation project: New energy photovoltaic power generation facilities company Zhaoxin Co., Ltd announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary ONG SHENG plans to build a 400 MW PV power generation project in Maanshan City and County. The investment is expected to be about RMB 1 billion ($0.14 billion).
Zhengye Technology to invest RMB 5 bn in PV module manufacturing: Disclosing investor survey details, industrial inspection equipment producer Zhengye Technology said that the company plans to invest in the construction of 5 GW photovoltaic modules and 8 GW heterojunction photovoltaic cell production facilities in Jingdezhen High-tech Zone. The total investment will be about RMB 5 billion ($0.71 billion). The facilities will be built in 3 phases, wherein the first phase will have an investment of RMB 1 billion ($0.14 billion), the second phase RMB 2.8 billion ($0.4 billion), and the third phase will have an investment of RMB 1.2 billion ($0.17 billion). Having said this, the investment into each phase will be decided as per the progress of the facilities.
