Aiko's RMB 1.6 billion fund raising approved: Chinese solar cell producer Aiko Solar announced that the Issuance Review Committee of China Securities Regulatory Commission has reviewed and approved the company's application for non-public issuance of A shares in 2022. The total funds to be raised through non-public offering of Aiko Solar will not exceed RMB 1.6 billion ($0.22 billion). The raised funds, after deducting issuance expenses, will be used to construct Zhuhai's new generation 6.5 GW high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cell facility, and towards working capital.
