Join TaiyangNews Reliable PV Module Design Virtual Conference tomorrow; JinkoSolar delivers 130 GW of modules; ALAE ventures into perovskite production line.
TaiyangNews Reliable PV Module Design Conference on Dec. 14: TaiyangNews Reliable PV Module Design Virtual Conference will take place tomorrow from 9.30 – 13.30 CET. While the Conference will see stakeholders from different parts of the module manufacturing chain discuss the latest findings on how to make high-quality solar panels that stand the test of time, the day will end with a panel discussion. The focus of the discussion will be on how to ensure reliability for modules with high efficiency cell architecture. The participants will be Jerry Sun from JA Solar, Peter Peng from HIUV Materials and Tristan Erion-Lorico from PV Evolutions Lab, and the discussion will be moderated by Sharavan Chunduri from TaiyangNews. JinkoSolar enters 130 GW arena: Module supplier JinkoSolar announced that it has delivered about 130 GW of modules so far. The company claimed that it is one of the first photovoltaic brands to touch this milestone in the global market. The company also went on to add that in the coming year, the new 2023 version of Tiger Neo will be launched with an aim to further meet customers' needs. Earlier this month, JinkoSolar had reported 26.4% efficiency for its high efficiency n-type TOPCon monocrystalline silicon cell (see 26.4% Efficiency For N-Type Monocrystalline Silicon Solar Cell). Meanwhile JinkoSolar was part of the TaiyangNews Conference on High Efficiency Solar Technologies 2022 last month, which is accessible on our YouTube channel (see Oscar Zhang, JinkoSolar: Mass Production of n-Type TOPCon Technology – Sharing GW Scale Experiences)
ALAE to invest in perovskite production line: High-tech enterprise with automobile power control components ALAE said in an announcement that its wholly-owned subsidiary Hainan Aolian Investment Co., Ltd. is establishing a joint venture. The new company will indulge in research and development, production, and sales of perovskite solar cells. As per the plan of the new company, in 2023 a 50 MW perovskite pilot line will be put into operation; and in 2024 a 120 MW perovskite cell module production line will be put into operation.
