Risen upgrades TITAN series: Chinese solar panel maker Risen Energy announced that it has fully upgraded its TITAN series and introduced high-strength alloy steel frame PV modules. The high-strength alloy steel frame with exclusive Risen Energy patent has undergone reliability testing and design optimization for over a year now, and has performed well in all aspects, according to the company. When it comes to appearance, both aluminium alloy frame and high-strength alloy steel products remain basically the same. However in terms of material, high-strength alloy steel uses the industry's common corrosion-resistant galvanized magnesium-aluminium steel, combined with Risen's unique surface treatment technology, which gives the frame higher strength, and stronger corrosion and weather resistance capabilities. Next week, Risen will be participating at TaiyangNews' Virtual Confeence on Solar Module Innovations. Chief Pre-Sales Engineer Pengfei Zou will be speaking on Development Trend of Size and Advancement in System Compatibility of 210mm Modules. Join us. For Free Registration click here.

J.S.Machine achieves RMB 2.7 operating income: Packaging machinery company J.S.Machine's third quarter report for 2021 showed that the company has achieved RMB 144 million ($22.53 million) as net profit attributable to owners of the parent company, an increase of 59.23% year-on-year. The company's operating income was RMB 2.7 billion ($0.42 billion) in the first three quarters, an increase of 30.34% year-on-year. J.S. Machine attributed the increase in operating income to the increase in sales revenue of photovoltaic  intelligent complete equipment and packaging equipment. This, the company, had forecasted earlier this year (see China PV News Snippets: J.S. Machine, Shuangliang, JA Solar)

GoodWe & Arctech partner for PV projects: Solar inverter manufacturer GoodWe and solar tracking, racking and BIPV systems solution provider Arctech Solar, both from China, have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, GoodWe announced. Both parties will cooperate in the field of photovoltaic, and extend support in the development of new energy power plants and integrated smart energy projects.

Phase I of China Coal Datun New Energy Project begins construction: The ground-breaking ceremony for Phase 1 of China Coal Datun New Energy Demonstration Base project was held in Yangtun Town. The project, with an installed capacity of 263 MW, comprises fishery and PV, and is built by China Coal using coal mining subsidence area.

Less than a week for TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on Solar Module Innovations: TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on Solar Module Innovations will be held from 15-16 November 2021 and will have several world-leading module manufacturers and other solar stakeholders sharing the latest on solar module innovations, including LONGi, Chint Solar, Cybrid, JA Solar, JinkoSolar, Jolywood, Risen, Coveme, and Fraunhofer CSP.
