LONGi 14 GW module facility in Wangdian Town put into operation; Hongrun Construction to invest in 5 GW high efficiency PV cell module facility; Jinenu Solar PV production line started; Tangshan Haitai Xinneng to increase subsidiary capital by RMB 190 million.

LONGi’s 14 GW module facility put into operation: Leading Chinese vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi held the commissioning ceremony of its 14 GW monocrystalline module facility in Wangdian Town, according to local media reports. With an investment of RMB 6 billion ($0.86 billion), the facility is spread across 503 mu and consists of 19 high-efficiency module production lines. Once the facility is put into production, the annual sales is estimated to exceed RMB 21 billion ($3.01 billion). Supposed to be one of the largest module production facilities planned by LONGi, the output value from it is estimated to be RMB 450 million ($64.5 million) in the first quarter of 2023. Recently LONGi had participated in the TaiyangNews Reliable PV Module Design Virtual Conference and spoken on Lifecycle Quality: Higher Reliability, Lower Carbon Emission (see Dongxia Ni, LONGi Solar).

Hongrun Construction to invest in 5 GW cell module facility: National high-tech enterprise Hongrun Construction Group announced that it has reviewed and approved the proposal for investing in a 5 GW high efficiency photovoltaic cell module facility. This is in line with the company’s plans to promote the development of its new energy business. The investment will be about RMB 1 billion ($0.14 billion) and investment methods will include but not limited to sole proprietorship by the company, joint ventures with state-owned or strategic partners.

Jinenu Solar PV production line put into operation: Over a WeChat communication, customized producer of photovoltaic modules, Jinenu Solar said that its 3 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module manufacturing facility in Tai’an Base, has been put into operation. Covering an area of 150 mu, the Tai’an Base is equipped with fully automated photovoltaic module production lines.

Tangshan Haitai Xinneng to increase subsidiary capital: Photovoltaic equipment manufacturer Tangshan Haitai Xinneng Science and Technology Co said that it plans to increase the capital of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tangshan Xingtai Photovoltaic Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., by RMB 190 million ($27.2 million). The plan is to build a 2 GW photovoltaic module production facility in Caofeidian New Industrial Park, Tangshan City. The construction will begin in 2023 and last for a year. The estimated investment in fixed assets is estimated to be about RMB 200 million ($28.6 million).
