Akcome Technology raising RMB 300 million for multi-GW high efficiency HJT cell project; TrinaTracker's SuperTrack Technology can help increase production, says 3rd party; Autowell wins another LONGi equipment order.

RMB 300 million plan for Akcome: Chinese solar cell and module producer Akcome Technology plans to raise RMB 300 million to fund its 2.42 GW high efficiency heterojunction (HJT) solar cell project construction in Huzhou, Zhejiang (see China PV News Snippets). The company announced that the project is to be implemented in 2 phases of 820 MW and 1.6 GW. The company announced this project is conducive to promoting the development of the company's cell and module business. By investing in HJT, Akcome says it is preparing to improve efficiency and enhance its competitiveness for a technology with immense potential.

TrinaTracker's SuperTrack technology: The smart tracker solutions provider from Trina Solar group, TrinaTracker says an independent technical analysis from an internationally renowned but unidentified 3rd party says its SuperTrack technology has the potential to increase solar power plant production by 3.06%. According to the company, the result is similar to TrinaTracker's own data of 3.28% simulated by self-developed software SEB. The report further states that this Trina technology has the potential to decrease project LCOE by $1.25/MWh, equivalent to 2.79% lower than that of the typical single-axis tracker PV project.

Autowell's LONGi order: Automated equipment manufacturer Autowell Technology has won a LONGi Green Energy Technology order to supply its module production equipment for a bid amount of RMB 310 million. The company said it plans to deliver the same within 6 months to 9 months, which will reflect positively on its operating performance in 2024.
