Jolywood J-TOPCon 2.0 1.5 GW cell factory put into production: Bifacial solar cell and module manufacturer Jolywood's J-TOPCon 2.0 1.5 GW smart cell factory was put into production, the company said in an announcement. Spread across 14,633 square meters in Jiangyan, this is considered to be one of the largest GW-level TOPCon smart factories based on large-size silicon wafers. The production line adopts a new generation of N-type TOPCon 2.0 technology developed by the central government. The AI intelligent unmanned battery factory is equipped with fully automated production equipment, 5G fully intelligent AGV materials and product transmission systems, and a fully digital information MES management system. Autowell wins JinkoSolar bid for RMB 145 mn project: Automation equipment manufacturer Autowell Technology announced that it has won the bid for the stringer and cutting machines for JinkoSolar (Haining)'s Jianshan project. The equipment will be used for the production of fine welding wire modules for the Jianshan project. The bid amount is about RMB 145 million ($22.77 million) (tax included).
TBEA to invest RMB 1.1 bn for new energy power station: Solar PV inverter company from China, TBEA said that its holding company TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd. will invest in the construction of the Xingtang 200 MW photovoltaic project and the Shisanfang 49.5 MW wind power project with an investment of RMB 851million ($133.6 million) and RMB 340 million ($53.40 million) respectively. DAS Solar brings in investors: To enhance the strength of the company further, Chinese solar PV module and cell supplier DAS Solar introduced strategic investors – Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering Co., Ltd and Linyang Energy. Once the financing is completed, the technology side of the company will continue to invest in the research and development of new generation N-type cell and lightweight flexible modules, while the production side of the company will focus on 10 GW cell and 10 GW module production capacity. The company will strive to achieve 30 GW cell and 30 GW module production capacity in the next 3 years.
