Sungrow to supply 430 MWh ESS to Enlight: Solar PV inverter & storage equipment supplier Sungrow announced that it will soon be supplying Enlight Renewable Energy with 430 MWh of its 'flagship' liquid cooled energy storage system (ESS). Enlight is an Israeli traded developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP) with global operation across the US, Europe and Israel. The contract is considered to be the largest ESS agreement signed to date in Israel, hence bolstering the country's energy transition and marking a massive scale-up in installations for the newly launched system.

JinkoSolar wins 1.85 GW PV modules order from CNPC: Module supplier JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. announced that it has won a tender offered by CPECC (China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation), which is the affiliated company of CNPC (China National Petroleum Corporation) specializing in project engineering and construction. The tender is for 1.85 GW of its high efficiency solar modules. The modules are scheduled to be delivered during 2022 to support CNPC's solar development pipeline in China.

MLS to set up RMB 300 mn holding subsidiary: Energy-efficient lighting technology promoter MLS issued an announcement that the company intends to establish a holding subsidiary – Landvance New Energy Co., Ltd.- with its subsidiary Shenzhen Landvance New Energy Co., Ltd. The registered capital of the new company will be RMB 300 million ($47.22 million), of which RMB 188 million ($29.59 million) will be subscribed by the company, accounting for 62.5% of the shares. In the future, the company plans to leverage the resource of the listed company to deploy photovoltaic and energy storage systems. This will be done in accordance with the 'needs of the domestic and overseas markets.'

Golden Solar to construct HJT solar PV cell project: Material science company Golden Solar New Energy said that its wholly-owned subsidiary Golden Solar (Hong Kong) Solar Material Company Limited has accepted the entrustment of Gold Stone (Fujian) Energy Company Limited to jointly construct a heterojunction high-efficiency solar cell production line in the Zhangjiakou Renewable Energy Pilot Zone. The company will be doing this in association with the People's Government of Zhangjiakou Municipality; Shangyi County Chahar Wind Power Co., Ltd.; Huayuan Power, a subsidiary of Hua Yuan Power Co., Ltd; Zhangjiakou Zhonghe New Energy Group Co., Ltd.; and SDIC Power Holding Co., Ltd. The Group will hold 51% of the equity interests and become its largest controlling shareholder through undertaking all the rights and obligations of Gold Stone Energy. Jiangsu New Energy to acquire 80% of Anyang County PV Co: New energy project investor Jiangsu New Energy released an announcement that the company has acquired 80% of Anyang County Meiliang Photovoltaic Power Co., Ltd. for RMB 231.2 million ($36.39 million). This acquisition is part of the company's plan to further expand its PV power generation business. Anyang County Meiliang has a 100 MW solar photovoltaic power station. Once this transaction is completed, Jiangsu New Energy Holdings' new energy installed capacity stands to further increase.
