Hunan’s 500 MW overseas PV industry chain project concluded: To mark the ending of Hunan’s first overseas project, China Electronics Technology & Turkey Kalyon Group held a handover ceremony at the Ankara project site, according to a Photovoltaic Network News report. The project is jointly undertaken by Hunan Red Sun Optoelectronics Technology and Hunan Red Sun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a member of China Electronics Technology Group. In Aug. 2020, Kaylong announced that Turkey has finally got its own vertically integrated solar module factory with annual production capacity of 500 MW (see 500 MW Wafer-To-Panel Fab Opens In Turkey)

Guiguan to develop 511 MW PV & wind projects: Guangxi Guiguan Electric Power announced its intention to invest in the construction of photovoltaic and wind projects with a total installed capacity of 511 MW, and a cumulative total investment of approximately RMB 2.54 billion ($0.39 billion), according to local media. The projects would be Guangxi Longan Zhendong Photovoltaic Power Project, Zhebao Township Photovoltaic Project, Guangxi Heshan Company Ash Yard Photovoltaic Project, Yacun Photovoltaic Project, and Guangxi Binyang Mawang Wind Power Phase III Project.

Huaneng Xindian & Zibo launch JV to develop large-scale distributed PV: Huaneng Xindian Power Plant and Zibo Thermal Group have established a joint venture to establish Zibo Carbon Neutrality Development Group. This new company will focus on large-scale development of distributed photovoltaics, and also provide Zibo a platform to lower its carbon emissions  (so called dual-carbon strategy), local media reported
