Antaisolar to supply 400 MW solar tracker to Jiayang: Photovoltaic mounting systems provider, Antaisolar said that it has bagged a 400 MW solar tracker order from China-based project developer and EPC, Jiayang. This is the third cooperation between the two parties, and the company will be utilizing TAI-Universal for solar plants located in Ningxia and Gansu China. The project is expected to come online by the end of 2021. In July 2021, Antaisolar had provided Helios D2 solar trackers for 30 MW of a 100 MW solar power plant located in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China (China PV News Snippets: Antaisolar, Aiko, Haitai, Trina).
Guidong signs for 500 MW PV project in Hezhou: Power generation and supply company Guidong Power announced signing an investment agreement with the People's Government of Babu in Hezhou for wind energy, photovoltaic, thermal power and energy storage projects. This includes developing a photovoltaic power generation project for the reservoir and its surrounding mudflats, plant roofs, abandoned mines, agricultural production bases, barren hills and other regional resources. The installed scale of the planned PV project is more than 500 MW, and the investment will be about RMB 2 billion ($0.31 billion).
GCL New Energy sells 469 MW PV plant: In a series of power plant sales announcements, Chinese vertically integrated solar power plant operator GCL publicized the sale of another set of PV power plant assets to the scale of 469 MW with a total transaction amount of about RMB 2.1 billion ($0.33 billion). This is part of the company's efforts to repay its debts. In June 2021, the Bermuda Court had approved GCL New Energy's restructuring conditions of RMB 3,233 million ($500 million), with which the company gained more time to reduce debt (see China PV News Snippets: GCL New Energy, Tunghsu, Risen)
China Huaneng & Raohe partner for 300 MW PV project: Yichun Thermal Power Plant of China Huaneng Group Heilongjiang Branch and Raohe County Development and Reform Bureau of Shuangyashan City signed a 300 MW PV Project agreement to develop and construct new energy projects, China Huaneng said in a release.
Shandong involved in 300 MW PV power generation project: State-owned capital investment company Shandong Energy Group said it has come together with Tancheng County People's Government to develop distributed photovoltaic power generation across the county. The projects will have a total installed capacity of over 300 MW and an investment of RMB 1.2 billion ($0.19 billion).
